Performance Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to accomplish the following:
- Create new tables, append data, make deletions, build expressions, and evaluate data with Action and Update queries
- Create concise summaries of large quantities of data, and view and analyze data in spreadsheet format
- Use joins to view recordsets in different ways and create parameter queries to prompt for data
- Create SQL statements in advanced queries and use query results to optimize performance
- Enhance readability through design modification, and add grouping and sorting levels to meet changing needs
- Enhance appearance of reports and prepare reports for publication on the Internet or a corporate intranet
- Present additional information and embed charts that enhance the scope of your reports
- Use mathematical functions and build more dynamic reports based on parameter queries
